The 17th Conference of the International Transpersonal Association
We are a group of transpersonal psychologists
from all major transpersonal institutions of the United States and
representatives from the European Transpersonal Association (EUROTAS) in
Great Britain and Russia. We are inspired by the success of the First
World Congress on Psychology and Spirituality (New Delhi, January 2008)
and by annual conferences and multi-faceted and multi-cultured
activities organized by EUROTAS. Our intention is to revive and continue
traditions and activities of the International Transpersonal Association
(ITA) and to transform it in accordance to the needs and demands of
modern times. Our plans are to re-launch its great activity of
international conferences, and to organize its next 17th Conference in
Moscow, June 23 – 27, 2010.
We already have initial financial and organizational support from the
Russian side. Russian businessman Alexey Kuptsov promised to give seed
money to start organizational activity. The most famous Russian
television executive Eduard Sagalaev is providing PR and mass media
support. We are currently seeking funding from America to support
participation of American transpersonal psychologists and spiritual
leaders in this important international event. In this crucial time, we
seek to create a bridge between world transpersonal psychologists, and
spiritual, artistic, and political leaders.
